All individuals working on the KTC C.24 project adhere to a set of principles that guide their actions and decisions throughout various stages of the project, such as meetings, data gathering, conferences, law creation, and service delivery. These principles ensure that all actions are taken with integrity, respect, and consideration for all parties involved. The core guiding principles include:
Responsibilities and Rights of Ininew and Denesuline Awasis / Sekwe (Child):
This principle underscores the importance of protecting and upholding the rights of children, specifically those of the Ininew and Denesuline communities. It highlights the dual focus on ensuring the well-being of children while also recognizing the essential roles they play within their families and communities. This commitment includes both safeguarding their rights and nurturing their responsibilities as they grow and learn within their cultural contexts.
Seven Natural Laws:
These laws form the foundation for decision-making and actions throughout the project. They emphasize respect for nature, human rights, and balance in all relationships, ensuring that all practices align with KTC Nation(s) principles that support fairness, harmony, and sustainability.
